It’s Official!!! 2020 keeps getting weirder! “WEIRD” is the prom theme and this South Bay real estate market update August 2020 continues the theme. What the HECK is going on out there?

It’s been a year of extremes for certain. Hot South Bay Real Estate Market & low rates until Mid March, then pandemic set in & quarantine lock down, closing the beaches and the Strand. Mass Unemployment. Re-openings and then a 2nd closure with threats of a 2nd lock down if the Coronavirus Covid-19 cases don’t stop increasing. It’s mid-September as I’m writing this & my real estate office is still closed! Woah.

So what’s happening with this South Bay Real Estate Market Update August 2020 that’s different than say…. last month?

Ok… maybe not… but what if it is?

Quick glimpse:

1- Interest Rates are still at historic lows and are in the high 2%’s to the low 3%’s! (30 year fixed!)

2- Inventory is STILL very low

3- Add those 2 up and you get high demand and low inventory STILL!

4- Is it a good time to sell? YES it STILL is! (see previous)

5- Is it a good time to buy? YES it STILL is… probably even more so now! See #1

This South Bay Real Estate Market Update August 2020 …

…is very timely and currently in a time out over in the corner… not because anything bad has happened… I just need a break so I can write this without it interrupting me the whole time.
