What Can $1 Million Dollars Buy In Redondo Beach?

Today we’re looking at what can $1 Million dollars buy in Redondo Beach. Specifically What’s available UNDER $1 Million Dollars? I know what you’re saying….”Well what?” If you saw my video on “What You Can Buy In Manhattan Beach for $1 Million Dollars”, you learned that there were NO LISTINGS UNDER $1M!

Also… If you’re familiar with the real estate values here in the South Bay Los Angeles… Specifically the 3 Beach Cities of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach… you’ll know the prices are .. . RIDICULOUSLY HIGH! Based solely on low supply and high demand… it’s simple Macro Economics.

And since the DAMdemic…they’ve been going even higher because of low supply and high demand coupled with hysterically low interest rates… as I’m sure you’ve heard me say 100 Times. (it’s more than that actually…) I thought it would be fun to look and see what You can buy for UNDER $1 Million dollars in the 3 Beach Cities.

Today… I’m in Redondo Beach. Redondo Beach is almost twice the size of Manhattan Beach at 65,000.  It became a city around the Hotel Redondo in the 1880’s.

Let’s see what you can buy in a Condo, a Townhome and a Single Family Home. Currently in Sept of 2021

There’s 3 condos available around the $650,000 mark. They’re all in the same complex in South Redondo Beach…they’re all 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and just under 1000 sq feet. Built in 1970. The Home Owners Association or HOA fee is around $450 per month.

If you want to be closer to the beach, there’s this 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath condo that’s a block from the Redondo Pier w/ Ocean Views for $700,000.

The two lowest price townhomes are in North Redondo Beach. They’re both priced at $845,000. First is a 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath and a little over 1,300 sq ft & built in 1980. 2nd is a 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath and is 1440 sq ft. Built in 1975.

The two lowest price Single Family Homes are a 3 Bedroom 1 Bath, 893 sq foot fixer that was built in 1957 on a 2,500 sq foot lot. It’s pretty tired & listed at $999,000. I know… a million dollars? The next single family home is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath 1,100 sq foot home on a 5,700 sq foot lot, built in 1955 and it’s listed at $975,000. Yikes!

There’s the lowest priced homes from what’s currently available in Redondo Beach, California. Pretty amazing!

2 and 1/2 years ago, the MEDIAN PRICE in Redondo Beach just hit $1 Million Dollars for the first time ever… now it’s the lowest price in single family homes. If you’re thinking of selling, call me and watch the video that’s at the top of this email and THEN call me.
